When you first hear the name Pickett in Geelong, the word ‘framing’ usually comes second.
The Pickett Family is well known in the local framing industry with two successful businesses including Frameline located in Geelong West, and Kardinia Picture Framing in Moorabool Street.
Frameline has been operating for over 13 years. Scott Pickett has been working with his Dad Max since the age of 15. He started Frameline to service the other side of town at the age of 21. For over 17 years Scott has been perfecting his trade under the keen and experienced eye of his father, Max Pickett.
Brother Wes also entered the trade after travelling the world through his early 20s. He’s been framing for over 10 years and his keen eye for culture has been perfectly in tune with the family businesses. He spends most of his time at the Moorabool Street store.
We have built our reputation on good old fashioned service and a professional approach to catering for all art, print, framing and hanging needs.

Scott Pickett – Owner & Expert Framer
Scott is an expert art framer. Boasting 23 years of framing knowledge, he was taught his skills by his Dad Max – the man who framed Geelong. As the face of Frameline, Scott has worked hard at the helm to build his business into a one-stop destination for printing and framing.
Since opening 17 years ago, he’s learnt to adapt to new technology as it has become available. Today, he specialises in working with artists and organising commercial projects, but you’ll always find him working on a wide range of projects. Scott also oversees gallery, hotel and business fit-outs, readying the spaces for installations with professional hanging systems.
Austin Richards – Store Manager & Expert Framer
Austin has a host of expert framing knowledge, specialising in commercial and corporate projects. With over 12 years in the industry, there isn’t much he doesn’t know when it comes to framing prints and artworks. In case that wasn’t enough, he’s one of the most amiable blokes you’ll ever meet and we’d be lost without him.
Rhiannon Matthews – Printing & Restoration Specialist
Rhiannon is here to meet all of your printing and restoration needs. As our most experienced print specialist, she can advise on all things colour correction, resolution and retouching. As a keen photographer, making her the perfect candidate to bring your pictures to life. Her amazing photography is available to purchase in-store.
Jess Ryan – Print & Gallery Specialist
Jess has a keen eye for detail with colour being a strong point. She has studied art restoration and has over 9 years of professional art printing experience. Having run galleries in Melbourne and Sydney, she understands the art of restoration and the importance of colour correction in reproduction. She is a key player in the Frameline family when it comes to printing gallery-quality artworks.
